Abstract: Chuanyu No.6 is released as main potato variety with short stem and medium maturity for processing and food in Sichuan province China 2004.The high yield is outstanding over CK varieties of Chuanyu No.56 and Mira. It is resistance to Pvx and Pvy and LB. The rate of market tuber and dry matter content and VC of fresh tuber is very high, and the sugar is lower. The dormant period and storability is longer.
