By this experiment, the organic fertilizer of persimmon wine stillage and cattle manure, cattle manure, chicken manure were used as vegetable fertilizer for spinach, The purpose was to examine the effects of three organic manure on spinach growth and quality. The pot experiment was conducted in May, 2005. It was composed of three treatments, including co-composting of persimmon wine stillage and cattle manure, cattle manure, chicken manure. Each treatment had four fertilizer rates (the soil and manure ratio of culture medium is 9:1、8:2、7:3 and 6:4 ) , and Each fertilizer treatment was repeated six times. The result suggested that: the co-composting of persimmon wine stillage and cattle manure can improve both the growth and the quality of spinach much more than cattle manure and chicken manure. the co-composting of persimmon wine stillage and cattle manure significantly promoted the stem and foliage growth of spinach, improved produce, heightened Vc content, and reduced the accumulation of oxalic acid and nitrate, synthetically evaluate, the culture medium that the soil and manure ratio is 7:3 is the best treatment, the over ground and the underground increase production of spinach was the most, Vc content was the highest, and the oxalic acid content was lowest.
