300 “Huizhou ma” natural breeders were divided into 3 groups based on weight in 23-week age: bigger, moderate and smaller. 100 hens are in each group. Egg producing rate, average egg weight and hatchable egg rate were noted and analyzed. The result showed that breeding value of moderate weight group was better than other groups and that of smaller weight group was worse than other groups.
