Abstract: The experiment was done in pivotal area harmed by sand and wind in brink of Hexi desert oasis in order to protect and resume vegetation in the area and improve environment. The different density solutions of 50mg/kg, 100mg/kg, 150mg/kg, 200 mg/kg of ABT Root-inducing Powder and contrast ones were applied in the sand fixing afforestation to Calligonum sp., Hedysarum scopariun Fish. Et May and Haloxylon ammodenron May Bunge in shifting sand area. It shows that the all plants surviving ratios with ABT Root-inducing Powder solution seedlings are improved obviously comparing with the contrast ones. Particularly, the surviving ratios of Calligonum sp.and Hedysarum scopariun Fish. Et May reach to 98.462% and 81.429% by the ABT solution of 150 mg/kg, and it also has a positive function to the plant height growth, biomass accumulation and root system. However, the surviving ratio of Haloxylon ammodenron May Bunge in the solution of 200 mg/kg is more obvious than those of other density ones and contrast ones.
