Abstract: The science and technology project of food production is one of the great special national science and technology project during the period of tenth five-year plan. Significant achievement, simultaneously increasing of food output and benefit, has been achieved in intensifying the extension and application of new technology and in exploring effective extension mechanism and method, as well as in emphasizing the integration and innovation of high technology in wheat and maize since the project has been implemented for more than one year, which has an active promotion on comprehensive food production ability, its sustainable development and retrievable food increasing in Hebei province.
