Abstract: The tolerance and accumulation of Cu for sisal throw soil culture experiment. The examination were studied through the methods of adding Cu into unpolluted Granitic latosol in Hainan, after 2 weeks equilibrium, adding lime, planting the sisal on the polluted soil by Cu, we had studied Cu concentration, in different parts of sisal, The results were summarized as follows: The sisal growth responses were obviously different on soil Cu at varied levels from 0.0 to 2000 mg/kg. At Cu levels of 1000 mg/kg, the sisal could grow normally. The sisal growth was limited with the improvement of Cu contents in soils. At Cu levels of 2000mg/kg , the sisal could not grow and die. Meanwhile Cu concentration in shoots was higher than in roots. The results showed that adding lime could improve the growth of sisal effectively and inhibit the uptake of heavy metals on Cu polluted soil. When soil Cu was 500mg/kg, the best dosage was 3375kg/hm2. When soil Cu was 1000mg/kg the best dosage was 4500kg/ hm2, this combination of sisal and calcareousness could transplant Cu twice time more than that of only plant sisal. When soil Cu was 2000mg/kg adding calcareousness could effectively improve the growth of sisal.
