Abstract: Taxus chinensis var.mairei cuttings were treated by different hormones: ABT、NAA、IBA and water as control, after that the effect of different hormones on the rooting rates, biomass and taxol contents of the cuttings were researched. It’s shown that the best results of rooting rate, roots number, new branches number and taxol contents were coming from the ABT treated cuttings group. So using ABT to treat Taxus chinensis var.mairei cuttings is better than other hormones.
