Introduction of Food safety supervision system and quality certification in Taiwan

Abstract:

This paper introduces Taiwan's food safety supervision bodies (such as Council of Agriculture, Department of Health of Executive Yuan, Metrology and Inspection Bureau of Standards etc.), laws, regulations, quality certification system, and the revelation from Taiwan's food safety regulatory mechanism. Understanding the status of Taiwan is important for the implementation of the two sides agreement, promoting food safety communication and mutual trust, protecting the safety and health of Chinese people.
