Abstract: Abstract: The effects of plant growth regulators on the regeneration of buds and shoots, multiplication and root formation of in vitro cultures from three citrus species were identified by stem culture. Results showed that MT medium supplemented with BAP 2.0 mg/L and IBA 0.1 mg/L was suitable for the regeneration of buds and shoots for three citrus species. The highest shoots multiplication index of three citrus species was obtained on a medium containing BAP 1.0 mg/L and IBA 0.2 mg/L. In addition, 1/2 MT medium supplemented with NAA 3.0 mg/L alone was best for the rooting of Etrog citron (C. medica L.), whereas the most number and the highest length of roots were produced on a treatment containing both NAA 2.0 mg/L and IBA 0.25 mg/L for Mexican lime (Citrus aurantifolia (Christm.) Swingle) and sweet orange (C. sinensis (L.) Osbeck). Plantlets survived of three citrus species were all more than 90% in soil under greenhouse conditions.
