Abstract: Proteomics has become a focus of life science in the era of post-genomics with quickly developing of research techniques in proteomics. The main research techniques of proteomics such as the techniques of the protein extraction, isolation and identifying is summarized in this paper. The application prospects of the proteomics techniques in tobacco scientific research are reviewed.
