Abstract:

The silkworms were treated by γ-irradiation of different doses、starvation and electric shock，the antibacterial peptides were isolated to detect its antibacterial activities by inhibition zone. The results showed that the antibacterial substance could be induced by all treatments above. Inhibiting activity by screening of inhibition zone showed that the inhibiting activity of starvation was the best. The experiment of antibacterial peptides produced from silkworms provided a new approach of its comprehensive utilization.
