Abstract: Based on the research and development of seed coating at home and abroad, through the introduction of available technical of seed coating, concept and mechanism of seed coating, composition and classification of seed coating, as well as the research of the function of seed coating, development and use of seed-coating machinery, we find some weaknesses of the research of seed coating, with a view to make a reference for our research and the production practice of seed coating.
