Abstract:

Abstract In order to explore the physiological and biochemical change law during morphogenesis process of flax, some matters like soluble sugar, soluble protein, nucleic acid, etc. and activity changes of anti-oxidation enzymes CAT, SOD and POD during the morphogenesis process of flax in different genotypes were studied. The results showed that in each stage of the two flax varieties, contents of CAT, POD, soluble protein, nucleic acid and soluble sugar in embryogenic callus were all higher than those in non-embryogenic callus, furthermore changes in contents and components of above matters were related to the embryogenic maintenance and the vigorous segmentation and differentiation of cell; While the content of SOD was high in aseptic seedlings and adventitious buds, but lowest in initial callus, which was closely related to the antioxidant capacity of SOD.
