Abstract:

Taiyuan is famous for its history and culture, in which Jinyuan district is the best conserved history style and features with abundant nature and cultural landscape. This article introduced Jinyuan district’s general situation survey and made the statistics about its history legacy by investigating the general situation, anglicizing the status of historical garden. Taking the example of Jinci, Jinyang ancient city site and Tianlong Moutain’s historical gardens, it also investigated and analyzed the existing problems from environmental, man-made factors, the cooperation between entire and regional landscape ,historical architecture and modern landscape, surveyed and analyzed the protection of the historical architecture in this district using the present situation relative repairing and improving measures. It promoted that all kinds of historical gardens should be paid attention to protect their historical original features, the complement and cooperate the relation between the protection and use. For the historical public garden that was used for city public space, based on the retaining historical view, undertook the scientific and reasonable development and well combined historical gardens and modern landscape through the landscape design ways.
