Abstract:
In order to investigate the regulation effect of soybean peptide on the high temperature resistance of banana plants, after foliar spraying with different concentrations soybean petide, some relative physiological indices were measured in seedlings of banana cultivar “Brazil” at 42 ℃.The results showed that the pretreatment with soybean peptide reduced the relative conductivity and the content of malondialdehyde(MDA) in leaves, and increased the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and peroxidase(POD),as well as the contents of soluble proteins and proline in leaves, and inhibit the production of O2.-. The results have proved the soybean peptide has constructive effects in decreasing the injury caused by high temperature stress and increasing the heat resistance of the leaves of Brazil banana seedling. The optimum soybean peptide concentration was found to be 0.6%.
