Abstract:

The karyotype of three Cyclamen persicum Mills was studied by the method of squash with the young leaves. The results showed that all the chromosomes were diploid; The karyotypes were divided into three types, i. e. 2n=2x=84=84m type, 2n=2x=84=47m+30sm+7M type and 2n=2x=84=83m+1M type. There was no satellites found in the morphological observation of chromosomes; all the three types were small in size; The karyotype of France iridescent cloud series and Zhejiang sen-he series belonged to 1B type , There was great similarity of karyotype among the germplasms. The karyotype of Belgium laser multi series belonged to1A type.
