Abstract:

For improving quality of commix smoke and selecting new variety of oriental tobacco adapt to disparate entironment, research on the adaptability of five oriental tobacco varieties were conducted in free area of Baoshan and Dehong with fild relative experiments for two years. Results showed that ‘Yunxiang Basma No.1’ could be released as the main oriental tobacco cultivars because performance is steady. ‘Baojialiya Basma’ and ‘Basma No.14’ had a better performance in cultivars identity, appearance, yield and quality, could be extend step by step in the acreage. ‘Komatini’ performed relatively good in mangshi and was suitable to grow. ‘Basma No.15’ was necessarr for further studies in small scall because of bad performance.
