To analyze the relationship between the content of the chemical composition of soil samples and the corresponding reducing sugar of the tobaccos’ middle leaves collected from Qujing city, Yunnan Province, by different statistical analysis methods. The results showed that: (1)altitude was a major factor in affecting the reducing sugar in Qujing city, The turning points for the altitude were 1850 m, 1867 m, 1945 m, 2158 m, the means of the reducing sugar were 23.38%, 21.77%, 23.33%, 24.37%, accordance with the turning points; (2)in the altitude of 1850-1867 m, that the content of the reducing sugar was low may be related to slightly higher pH of the soil; (3)in the attitude of less than or equal 1850 m, the water-soluble chlorine was the main factor what affect the content of the reducing sugar, the turning point was 4.84 mg/kg, the means of that were 25.51%, 23.15%; (4)in the altitude of 1945-2158 m, the effective Mo was the main factor, the turning points were 0.15 mg/kg, 0.65 mg/kg, the contents of the reducing sugar were 23.70%, 25.02%, 23.09%; (5)when the effective Mo was in the range of 0.15-0.65 mg/kg, the effective sulfur was the main factor. The turning point were 19.18 mg/kg, 47.74 mg/kg, 105.76 mg/kg, the means of the reducing sugar were 24.60 %, 25.29%, 26.27%, 22.25%. Elevation, effective molybdenum, effective sulfur, effective chlorine were the main factor.
