Abstract:

The study was that fermented cassava residue replace part of feed ingredients of Wenchang Chicken diets, aim to decrease the quantity of maize and reduce cost of raising. Different proportion fermented cassava residue that be fermented by different compound bacterium was utilezed, and weight gain be compared with the normal diets. The experimental results show that: the effect of weight gain of all experimental groups was not different from control group significantly(P> 0.05),. However, considering the effect of weight gain and the economic benefits: ①there was no significant impact on chicken weight gain by replacing the same proportion of feed ingredients with cassava residue, and it can reduce feed cost; ②it found by comparison that the compound bacterium, when the proportion of Aspergillus oryzae, Bacillus subtilis and Saccharomycescerevisiae was 40:20:40 and the protortion of replacing was 15%, the effect of the chicken weight gain is better that other gorups.
