Abstract:

The wild oat populations in Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu wheat production field were collected in 2008, 2009 and 2010. These populations were tested resistance to clodinafop-propargyl by whole plant test in greenhouse. The results showed all wild oat populations evolved low resistance to clodinafop-propargyl. Of these, the resistance frequency of wild oats populations in Jiangsu Province in 2008, 2009 and 2010 were 11.22%, 12.37% and 11.5%. The resistance frequency of wild oat populations in Henan Province, Anhui Province were 6.94%, 8% in 2008, 7.14%, 7.06% in 2009 and 7.44%, 7.62% in 2010. Compared with other populations, wild oat populations in Jiangsu Province was comparatively high. Although these populations revolved low resistance, clodinafop-propargyl was one of the most primary herbicides in these fields with high usage and frequency. So herbicide rotation must be taken into consideration in these fields.
