Abstract:

In 1960s, Korea implemented New Village Movement, in which the countryside cultural construction obtained great success. The article summarizes the culture experience in Korea: fully playing the government duties, attention to the farmer’s "spiritual enlightenment"; focus on education and training of farmers; improved capacity of the village environment, and financial support from government. It Points out that the government should play the leading role in the new countryside cultural construction. We should not only attach importance to farmers’ education and train new farmer, but innovate rural humanism ecological environment and build new villages.
