Abstract:
In order to provide some available cultural practices to provide the high yield and the wide diffusion of ‘Yannong5158’, the effect of sowing time and seeding rate on grain yield, its components and height of plant were researched in field by a variety of sowing the seed rate trials. The results showed that the effect of sowing time was significant on grain yield and its components. The number of spike per hm2, grain yield and were decreased with the delay of sowing time, while increased with the increase of seeding rate in an extent. While the changes of kernels per spike and the kernel weight were opposite to the former, which decreased with the increase of seeding rate. With statistical analysis, 27/9 and 03/10 was not significant, while were extremely significant than other treatments. the variety of similar areas in the pilot sites suitable sowing date around October 1, in the range of suitable sowing time, optimum seeding rate for the 120000 seedlings/hm2 or so.
