Abstract:

In order to make better use of saline alkali soil, it should have better improvement. In this paper, effect of different concentrations of aluminum sulfate on soluble salts and pH value of the soil was studied through indoor simulation experiments. The results indicated that after a table 1 aluminum sulfate, Na+, CO32- and HCO3- contents of the soil solutions increased significantly, pH value of the soil solutions decreased significantly and properties of the soil had remarkable improvement. With the aluminum sulfate amount increasing, the soluble salt contents released from the soil particles increased, the salt contents in the soil reduced. Different density and washed times of aluminum sulfate influenced the outcome. At the same time, the improvement of physics –chemical properties of soda alkali-saline soils had created the good soil environment for the crops growth.
