Abstract:

In order to study the antioxidant activities of ultra high pressure (UHP) extractiontotal flavonoids from Eriobotrya japonica (Thumb.) Lindl. The influence of ethanol concentration , UHP pressure, UHP time and the ratio of solid to liquid on total flavonoids yield were studied by using. L9(34) orthogonal design. Meanwhile, the free radical scavenging of DPPH was determined .The results shown that the optimum extraction conditions were ethanol concentration 50%, UHP pressure 400MPa, UHP time 4.5min, stock ratio 1:18(g:ml).The yield of total flavonoids was 0.693%.The results also shown that line relationship existed between DPPH free radical scavenging and total flavonoids. The UHP extraction total flavonoids has better higher antioxidant activities and has great exploiting foreground.
