Abstract:

Huanglongbing (HLB) is a highly destructive disease to citrus industry. The pathogen, Candidatus Liberibacter spp., is hardly cultured in vitro. This review focused on the latest research progress of pathogen characteristics and intraspecific differentiations, occurrence features in the field such as incubation period, spatial-temporal dynamics, and disease cycle. Then the epidemic factors mainly in terms of host plants, vector and survival condition were discussed.
