Abstract:

To study on income gap between urban and rural population in Beijing was important for China to balancing urban and rural development. The paper analyzed evolution of income gap between urban and rural population in Beijing during the 1990—2009 period, and studied on structural differences in between. The results showed that the income gap between urban and rural population in Beijing was widened gradually. Income gap in rural population themselves was signal. The wage income and transfer income greatly influence on income gap between urban and rural population in Beijing.
