Abstract:
In order to explore the relationship between the soil and water erosion and the farming ways in the dry slope field in Guangxi and provide a theoretical and technical basis for comprehensive control of soil and water erosion. The effects of different farming ways on the soil and water loss were studied in this experiment. The results showed that: compared with non-contour farming system, contour farming reduced water and soil losses and soil nutrient losses significantly. The water reduce by 10.51%, soil by 67.09%, available nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in soil reduce by 67.34%, 66.46%, 66.73%, respectively, organic matter in soil reduced by 68.13%. It was an effective way to farm according contour lines for preventing soil and water erosion.
