Abstract:
Different air-curing barns were designed in Sichuan Province Dazhou City in order to compare the content of water and pigments in burly tobacco leaves and the temperature and relative humidity during air-curing and chemical components of cured leaves in different barns. The results indicated that: the adjustment of temperature and relative humidity among there barns was different. Average temperature and relative humidity in different room age of barns were different. There were different change of the content of water and pigments in tobacco leaves during curing in there barns. The different barns affected the content of chemical components in cured-tobacco leaves. The experiment showed that the four types barns could fit the requirement of burly cured, each burley tobacco growing region can select the suitable type based on local actual materials.
