Abstract:
In order to protect the plant resources of Lingshui River Basin more better in Hainan Province, so there is study of the basin’s flora using quadrat based on lots of consultation of literatures and field investigations. The result demonstrated that: (1) there were recorded vascular plants 458 families and infraspecies, contained vascular plants 127 families, 360 genera: pteridophytes 19 families, 23 genera, 24 species; gymnosperms 3 families, 3 genera, 3 species; angiosperms 105 families, 334 genera, 431species; (2) There were 10 families of spermatophyte with more than 10 species, 8 genera of spermatophyte with more than 4 species; (3) Areal-types of families and genera of spermatophyte were 9 and 14, variant were 7 and 9, pan-tropical elements of the two occupied 53.49% and 29.32% of the non-world distribution; (4) Chinese endemic genera was little, only 3, 0.82% of the total non-world genera; It showed that there were plentiful plant resources in Lingshui River basin. Angiosperms had an absolute advantage over the others, which had a high degree of differentiation and a phenomenon of superior flora, of which dispersion patterns were varied and geographical elements were complicated, which had a significant tropical and subtropical nature and Temperate transitional nature; (5) There were 15 kinds protected plants of country and province. It was scientific value for knowing the plant’s origin and development of the river.
