For screening red clover variety of high adaptability in the area low elevation of Sichuan, The compared experiment for three red clover varieties of agronomic characteristics was studied from 2007 to 2011. The results showed that the three red clovers adapted the district well. The phenophase of “Freedom” turning green stage had the earliest of three clover; “Freedom” had prostrated branch number with tall plant height, and that of “Minshan”. The average hay yield of “Freedom” had the highest (9795 kg/hm2). The hay yield of “Freedom” was significant (P<0.05) to “Minshan” and “Wuxi”, “Minshan” and the difference of “Wuxi” wasn’t significant. Taking one with another, the red clover “Freedom” was the most adapted and most fertility species, the adaptation of red clover from strong to poor was “Freedom”, “Minshan”, “Wuxi”.
