Abstract:

In order to improve the utilization of nitrogen in the sugarcane. To the main local sugarcane varieties ROC22 as the experimental material. Set of three nitrogen fertilizer rate and three different application methods, studied the relationship between nitrogen and sugarcane growth by investigating sugarcane agronomic characters, yield, quality. The results showed that: increasing nitrogen could promote sugarcane tillering, elongation and thickening, increase sugarcane production. But the amount of increase in cane yield did not increase with increasing nitrogen. Urea application rate of 600 kg/hm2 had better increase in production. The sucrose content declined with increasing in nitrogen fertilizer. Nitrogen fertilizer applied early could help sugarcane to jointing earlier, grow earlier, improve the cane yield. Nitrogen applied early was conducive to the accumulation of sucrose and improving cane quality. In low nitrogen and middle nitrogen, two application methods yield increased 5010 kg/hm2, 4600 kg/hm2 respectively, compared with three application methods. In high nitrogen, one application method yield increased 8175 kg/hm2 compared with three application methods. In low nitrogen and middle nitrogen, one application method, sucrose content increased 0.65 percentage points and 0.79 percentage points respectively, compared with three application methods. In high nitrogen, two application methods sucrose content increased 0.45 compared with three application method.
