Abstract:

To study the progress of China’s territorial planning research over the past decade, the author reviewed the domestic territory literatures since 1999, and found that a new round of territorial planning practice, GIS applications in territorial planning, the introduction and comparison of foreign experience in territorial planning, which results significantly and promote research development. Otherwise, the basic theory of territorial planning, territorial planning system are the weaknesses of exiting research. In the future, the research need to strengthen the main features of the relationship of territorial planning and other relevant planning, and how to implement territorial planning and other planning outcomes docking, and makes territorial planning to become the top-level design.
