Abstract: Liriomyza huidobrensis, Liriomyza sativae and Liriomyza trifolii are the main alien invasive species in china which have a great harm on environment and agricultural economies. This review has reviewed the recent research progresses on ecological adaptability and population succession mechanisms form host-plant selection, interspecific competition and environment factors. Population occurrence and diffusion of alien invasive leafminers are described. This review was in order to provide information for using guidelines to control three alien invasive Liriomyza species.
