Abstract: The aim was to screen Bacillus with broad antimicrobial spectrum against pathogen of fruits and vegetables. With nine pathogenic fungi and three pathogenic bacteria as indicators, Bacillus NCPSJ7 was screened using agar disk diffusion methods. Combined morphological analysis, physiological and biochemical characteristics, and 16S rDNA gene homology analysis, strain NCPSJ7 was finally identified as Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens. The antimicrobial spectrum of B. amyloliquefaciens NCPSJ7 was studied. It was shown that strain NCPSJ7 displayed both antifungal and antibacterial activity. The optimization of fermentation conditions, the composition, properties and antibacterial stability of the antibacterial substance, and separation and purification of the antibacterial substance will be studied in the further research.
