Abstract: Objective To compared of nutrients in the pueraria DC and sweet potatoes. Method Three ueraria DC and sweet potatoes were selected to compare protein content, starch content, free fatty acids, crude fiber content, water content, and mineral content. Results The starch content, free fatty acids, crude fiber content, and mineral content among pueraria DC was higher than sweet potatoes, but protein content was lower among pueraria DC comparing with sweet potatoes. Differences of them were significant between pueraria DC and sweet potatoes. Conclusion Pueraria DC could be used as a portion of the feed alternatives.
