Study on the Residue of 30% Difenoconazole·Propiconazole EC on Wheat

Abstract: 30% difenoconazole·propiconazole EC is one of the important fungicides for the control of sharp eye spot of wheat in China. In order to determine the residue and the degradation of 30% difenoconazole·propiconazole EC in wheat seeds, wheat plants and soil, field trials were conducted and the related samples were collected after the fungicide spraying and the residues of difenoconazole and propiconazole was detected through GC-ECD. The detection results showed that in 2011, the residues of difenoconazole in soil and wheat plants were 0.1033 mg/kg and 4.0498 mg/kg, with the half life (T1/2) of 15.5 days and 8.6 days, respectively; the residues of propiconazole in soil and wheat plants were 0.0940 mg/kg and 2.0329 mg/kg, with the half life of 23.9 days and 6.8 days, respectively. And in 2012, the residues of difenoconazole in soil and wheat plants were 0.0910 g/kg and 4.0498 mg/kg, with the half life of 13.0 days and 8.6 days, respectively; the residues of propiconazole in the soil and wheat plants were 0.0723 mg/kg and 2.3507 mg/kg, with the half life of 22.1 days and 6.5 days, respectively. The results of the final residue experiments showed that the final residues of difenoconazole in wheat plants, wheat seeds and soil were 0.0730-2.0880 mg/kg,<0.01-0.0363 mg/kg and<0.01-0.3649 mg/kg, respectively, and the final residues of propiconazole in wheat plants, wheat seeds and soil were 0.0461- 1.6396 mg/kg,<0.005- 0.0307 mg/kg and<0.005- 0.1036 mg/kg, respectively. The 30% difenoconazole·propiconazole EC can be applied to wheat 3 to 4 times with the maxmium dosage of 135 a.i. g/ hm2 and 35 days of recovery interval.
