Abstract: With the rapid economic development of central yellow sea region, severe weather occurs frequently and have serious influence on transportation, fishery, etc. So, it is of significant importance to improve the forecast ability of coastal winds, and reduce or avoid economic losses and casualties. Through the analysis of secondary circulation of two windy weather processes on August 28, 2012 (Typhoon bolaven) and February 13, 2009, in coastal region of Liaoning, the authors found: (1) jet secondary circulation subsidence area was ground winds strengthen region, providing a theoretical basis for forecasting strong wind; (2)intensity variation of dynamic secondary circulation caused by the vertical velocity had an obvious indication role on the intensity change of surface gale, ladder like distribution of vertical velocity center in pairs in the process of the wind benefited the downward transport of momentum and had a promoting effect on surface wind; (3)thermal secondary circulation also had certain effect on the ground gale, but not a decisive role in the formation of the wind.
