Abstract: To study the separated variation of phenotypic traits on seedlings of Malus micromalus, and explore the earlier periods and methods of germplasms selection, 19 different phenotypic traits were invested, which were from 200 seedlings of Malus micromalus. The results of variation and correlation showed that there was evident separation on phenotypic traits of natural seedlings of Malus micromalus, the separation on traits of fruit was the maximum, followed by the traits of branch, and the traits of flower was the minimum. The correlation analysis indicated that there were certain correlations between different phenotypic traits, the phenotypic traits of branches, leaves and fruits were significantly or extremely and significantly correlated, meanwhile there were extremely significant correlations among the fruit length, diameter and fruit weight, the correlation coefficient was 0.960, 0.945 and 0.965, respectively, but the correlations of tree height and trunk diameter were not significant with other phenotypic traits.
