Abstract: The paper aims to explore the effect of spraying different chemical regulators on plant height and yield in hybrid wheat seed production. The authors took the hybrid wheat‘Xindong43’and its parents as the study materials, adopted 2 chemical regulators paclobutrazol (PP333) and chlormequat (CCC) for spraying 1 time and 2 times on foliar at wheat starting and jointing stage, to study the effect of chemical regulators on plant height dwarfing and yield. The results showed that: the plant height and internode length of the 3 materials could be effectively reduced by spraying 350 mg/L of chlormequat and 400 mg/L of paclobutrazol, and different doses of chlormequat were negatively correlated with yield. Choosing different spraying methods according to planting purposes can not only reduce the plant height to improve the lodging resistance of wheat, but also decrease the plant height difference between the parents in hybrid wheat seed production, and improve the yield of seed production.
