Abstract: The paper aims to clarify the best harvest time of oats in Qinghai. We took‘Qinghai 444’,‘Qinghai Sweet Oats’, and‘Qingyin 2’which were harvested after the dough stage in 2018 as the test materials. The results showed that the best time to harvest‘Qinghai Sweet Oats’was around 12-15 days after the dough stage, and the germination rate of the whole spike (upper, middle, bottom) was above 84% on average. The best time to harvest‘Qinghai 44’was around 10-15 days after the dough stage, and the germination rate of the whole spike (upper, middle, bottom) was above 93.56%. The best time to harvest‘Qingyin 2’was about 11-13 days after the dough stage, although the germination rate of the whole spike (upper, middle, bottom) was above 96.44%, the best harvest time was relatively short.
