Abstract:

In order to manage and implement results of general land use planning, and to achieve the informatization of land resource manage, the authors explored a method of establishing a general land use planning database by utilizing the current land use database and results of general land use planning. systematical analysis and flow chart based on MapGIS. The general design ideas, objective of database and technical route were systematically described in this paper. Meanwhile, several crucial steps of creating a database established, such as addition of planning elements layer, construction of attribute structure, calculation of pure areas, were solved. The research revealed that it was possible to build the planning database using current land use database and results of general land use planning.
