Abstract: Objective: This research aimed to analyze the structure and characters of CD169 and to find the special property of pig CD169 compared to other animals. Method：CD169 gene and protein sequence were analyzed and predicted by using related bioinformatics software and comparative genomics methods. Result: The results showed that there is a high similarity of CD169 between swine and boss, and that porcine CD169 may contain signal peptide. It is predicted to contain phosphorylation sites and glycosylation sites, holding the coiled coil structure Conclusion: The research of CD169 protein will be very helpful to understand the function of CD169 as PRRSV receptor, and lay a foundation for studying the species-specific or tropism for PRRSV infection.
