Abstract:

To decline the use of pestcide and reduce the environmental pollution of pesticide residues, find harmless prevention and cure to orchard pests, 10 different color insect-attracting boards were used in mangos and carambola gardens. The results showed that yellow boards had more attractive effects to Ichneunmonidae, Empoasca flavescens and Trypetidae, and blue boards had more attractive effects to Thripidae; yellow boards had trapped more natural enemies than others, it was 7.2 averages on per board. Yellow boards and blue boards could be used in pests control of the orchard, because of stronger attractive effects to pests and less to natural enemies.
