Abstract:
To research the relationship between meteorological condition and the third generation of cotton bollworm. Based on the amount of average eggs of the third generation of cotton bollworm, the damage area of cotton and "Penghua" the related meteorological conditions in Shandong Province were from 1969 to 2005. The results showed the change of meteorological condition has obvious influence for the third generation of cotton bollworm, especially in the highest air temperature and average relative humidity. The damage area of cotton was negative correlation with the highest air temperature of June and correlation with average relative humidity of the late of May. The amount of average eggs of the third generation of cotton bollworm was correlation with the highest air temperature of the beginning of July.
