Abstract:

To establish the most optimal callus induction system of Camellia phellocapsa, its tender leaves and stems were taken as explants material, the effect of different hormone combinations of 6-BA and NAA on callus induction of Camellia phellocapsa were studied. The results showed that the callus induction rates were higher when the positive of leaves were placed upward than when the positive of leaves were placed downward, and browning rates were lower; The effects of 6-BA concentration on callus induction rate of leaves were quite significant, the most suitable hormone ratio was when 6-BA was taken as 0.2 mg/L and NAA was 2.0 mg/L, the induction rate was as higher as 97.5%; inducted callus of stems appear browning with different degree, callus induction rate was extremely low.
