Abstract:
To kenaf stem diameter and Bark rate relation have a clearer understanding and for the subsequent kenaf breeding and cultivation to provide a better basis. The correlation of stem diameter and Bark rate of ‘Fuhong 992’ was studied by the analysis of Variance, phenotype and regression. The results showed that stem diameter has significant or highly significant effect on Bark rate and there is parabolic relationship between the two factors in phenotype. The Bark rate of ‘Fuhong 992’ was best when stem diameter range is 1.5mm to 2.0 mm. According to the data from experiment, using the method of nonlinear regression analysis and finding that index model and polynomial model have hige fitting degree. The related coefficients are 0.9837 and 0.9310, respectively.
