Abstract:

New standards of EU MRL for tea have a great impact on trade in EU on the tea export from China. New standards of EU MRL for tea have the traits of trade barrier from the viewpoint of SPS agreement, and the standards conflict with many articles of SPS agreement. This paper introduced the new standards of EU MRL for tea, analysis on the standard inconsistent with the SPS agreement, and some countermeasures for China copy with new standards of EU MRL for tea were also put forward.
