Abstract:

The effect of different doses of controlled-release-urea on the growth, yield and economic benefit of Chinese chive and soil available nitrogen was researched by cultivating it in basins. The results showed that appropriately use of controlled-release-urea could promote the growth of Chinese chive significantly, but the excessive doses of controlled-release-urea would inhibit it, which obviously lowered plant height, stem diameter and leaf width. There is a significant difference among the groups and group4 (T4) obtained the highest yield and economic benefit, were 65573.85 kg/hm2 and 131147.7 yuan/hm2, then those of other groups decreased gradually. Soil available nitrogen and the doses of controlled-release-urea were positively related, and the correlation coefficient is 0.9869. Excessive application of controlled-release-urea will reduce the yield and economic benefit, the optimum dose of controlled-release-urea for Chinese chive should be 450 kg/hm2 every time. The use of controlled-release-urea can effectively increase the soil available nitrogen.
