Abstract:
In order to evaluate the quality of the pros and cons of different varieties of banana. The paper investigated and evaluated the appearance qualities of 8 banana cultivars of Zhanjiang in Guangdong Province, and the internal nutrition content of their fruit were determined. The results showed that the appearance qualities of different banana cultivars differentiates each another, and that of ‘Williams’, ‘baxiyoubian’ and ‘beidaaijiaoNo.2’ were better. The internal contents of different kinds of banana cultivars were different. Starch, vitamin C and tannin of different cultivars have larger magnitude of changes, but the soluble sugar and organic acids of different cultivars had smaller changes. In short, the qualities of ‘Williams’, ’baxiyoubian’, ’beidaaijiao No.2’ were better.
