Abstract:

In order to make wheat anther culture breeding smoothly, improve the quality of wheat anther culture breeding success rate, this article was to study the suitable cultivating densities of 8 different materials in the same containers. The results showed that, the inoculation densities were diverse among these materials. The suitable cultivating densities of ‘Shi 4185’, ‘Zhoumai16’ and F129 were 100-120, 90-115 and 75-115 anther per triangle bottle respectively. The rate of callus of each genotype material that from high to low was ‘Shi 4185’, ‘Zhoumai 16’, F129, ‘Han 6172’, F1166, F1167, F123 and ‘Gaoyou 8901’ in turn. The conclusion was that the rate of callus of ‘Shi 4185’, ‘Zhoumai 16’ and F129 were significantly different with the others except ‘Han 6172’, so they could be used as anther culture research but other materials were not recommended to do in-depth training and research.
